Yeah I got to fill this space for a project, but given lack of time, I'll just post my old favourite here. This is the only poem that was ever refused by the magazine I write for. When you read it, you'll know why. I wrote it on a December evening after being asked to write a poem that would bring people in the "Christmas mood"

I've been an avid opera fan since childhood age. Not having been in contact with many music genres other than opera, I've probably heard every opera-singing voice out there. Renata Scotto has -imho- the most powerful voice of singers alive today. While she's getting up there in age, she adorned the opera stages with her voice in a way nobody else could, or nobody else ever will. She has created what we all look for in life - a deep beauty that touches the heart. Way to go...

They made me do it, I swear. They made me start a blog. Well you know, they have some kind of blog ring and if I want to play I have to start a blog.

um.. how do you start a blog? A faery tale would start with once upon a time, but a blog?
Writing rule number one: never start with *I* because the reader will think that you're going to talk about what you had for breakfast and how often you wash your hair. Phew I did that right.....
